Darrell Sheets, star of Storage Wars while filming the series special, Unlocked found a dead body wrapped in plastic inside the locker he bought back in 1988. According to Darrell the police said that a man murdered his wife and felt her in the locker.
2.American Idol
During American Idol Season 5 Paula Goodspeed who was a contestant of the show was “ridiculed and flatly rejected” by judges of the show during her audition.
Goodspeed was infatuated by the American Idol judge, Paula Abdul who was among the listed judges who insulted her. Later she dies of suicide near Paula Abdul’s Los Angeles house in 2008.
According to Abdul, “Goodspeed had been stalking her for 17 years and later told co-host Barbara Walters on Walters’ radio show that she pleaded with Cowell and the producers not to let Goodspeed audition.”
3. My 600-Lb Life (Season 6)
Robert Buchel appeared in the sixth season of the show My 600-Lb Life died during the filming of the show. He “was seeking Dr. Now’s help when he came in at 840 pounds and managed to drop 340 pounds with the help of the celebrity bariatric surgeon,” according to Distractify.
Robert had painkiller addiction as well and died on the show after having a fatal heart attack.
4. MTV’s The Real World: Hollywood
The cast member of The Real World: Hollywood, Joey Kovar “battled drug and alcohol addiction until he was eventually asked to leave the series.”
Later he appeared on Celebrity Rehab in 2009 to take help from Dr. Drew. But some years later he died due to “opiate intoxication” in 2012.
5. Punk’d
MTV’s Punk’d music coordinator, Gabriel Ben-Meir who was also music coordinator for other shows was killed outside his house in Los Angeles after being shot. Two suspects were caught that led to the reveal of the motive of the murder being robbery.
6. Deadliest Catch (Season 3)
During a rescue mission in the third season of Deadliest Catch a four-man crew was to be rescued but only “one survivor, an empty survival suit, and two dead crewmen floating in the water.”

In the sixth season of Deadliest Catch, fisherman Phil Harris died after having a stroke during off-loading of crabs in 2010.
8. Koh-Lanta
The French version of Survivor, Koh-Lanta whose contestant Gerald Babin died during the show’s filming. He suffered cardiac arrest while jumping off a boat during a tug-of-war challenge. Due to his death the production was stopped and the 2013 show was canceled.

A week after the death of Gerald Babin in the show Koh-Lanta the doctor who performed emergency care on Babin while on the show died by suicide. The reason for his suicide was that the media sulled his name in concerning with the death of Babin.

Another French show called Dropped has a terrible incident that killed 10 people. The show was an adventure reality show where eight sports stars would be dropped in the wild blindfolded. But during the filming two helicopters crashed killing ten people including famous sports stars.
The show got canceled after the terrible accident. People who died in the crash were “French athlete sailor Florence Arthaud, boxer Alexis Vastine and Olympic Gold medalist swimmer Camille Muffat.”
Others who died in the crash were “show’s director Laurent Sbasnik, French journalist Lucie Mei-Dalby, producer Volodia Guinard, the production’s doctor Edouard Gilles and cameraman Brice Guilbert and two Argentinean pilots.”
11. Battle Of The Exes (Season 2)
While shooting the show Battle of the Exes, cast member of The Challenge, Diem Brown collapsed on the set. Brown was rushed to a hospital in New York where an emergency surgery took place related to ovarian cancer that spread to her stomach and colon.
The show included her flight footage from Panama to New York and broadcasted her last words. “I’m at a point in my life where I want to just live life” before dying in November 2014.
12. I’m a Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here!
In the thirteenth season of the reality show I’m a Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here! Several cast and crew of the show had ticks removed from their bodies. More than 100 ticks were removed and one crew member suffered “severe anaphylactic shock” from the tick bite.

Jenni Rivera, Mexican-American singer starred in her own show, I Love Jenni and some of her inner circle members died in a plane crash in the middle of filming the third season of I Love Jenni.

Star of Animal Planet show The Crocodile Hunter, Steve Irwin died when a stingray pierced his chest with its spine tail in September 2006.
Irwin had been attacked by stingray while “doing some shallow water shots for his daughter Bindi’s TV show, Bindi the Jungle Girl,” according to The Hollywood Reporter. He was declared dead at the scene by the doctors.
