Early Life
Tom Holland is the son to his father Dominic Holland an author and comedian and mother Nicola Holland a photographer. Holland has three more younger brothers, twins Harry and Sam Holland and another Tom Holland brothers Paddy Holland.
Holland lives near his family house in Kingston upon Thames so that he can be close to his brothers and siblings. Growing up, Tom Holland studied at Donhead, an all-boys Catholic school in Wimbledon.
Being a big fan of Janey Jackson’s dancing and songs, Holland wanted to become a dancer, which is why his mother enrolled him in a dance class.
Career
While he was just nine years old, Tom was a member of a hip-hop dance class at the Nifty Feet Dance School here in Wimbledon. His group even performed at the Richmond Dance Festival in 2006.
At the age of seven, Holland was diagnosed with Dyslexia, and that is why his family sent all the boys to private school so that they could get full attention. After attending Wimbledon College, Holland also went to BRIT School for Performing Arts and Technology in Croydon.
At this festival, Tom was seen by the choreographer of the play Billy Elliot The Musical, Peter Darling, who arranged for an audition for him. The director of the play thought Tom “had great potential and was a very natural actor.”
