Year 2023 saw a new phenomenon called the Barbenheimer which is the celebration of two highly anticipated films releasing on the same day. A same day release usually creates problem for highly anticipated films due to people going to different cinemas and hence less football in cinemas and less box office collection.
But Barbie and Oppenheimer, two films from major award-winning directors releasing on the same day, saw different phenomenon. Where people were rushing to see the movie both totally opposite genre of movies and collecting huge box office numbers.
Before the release of the films memes were dropping left and right on social media showing the contrast of the same day released films. One dark movie based on the file of Oppenheimer, the creator of the Nuclear bomb that changed the history of warfare. On the other side Barbie a fantasy comedy based on the famous Mattel dolls of the 90s.

2023 saw a major strike by the Hollywood Screen Actors Guild that included, scriptwriters, actors, directors and other staffs’ working in the industry for better pay, better working conditions and safeguards against AI threats. The strike was against major production houses and went on for 118 days ending in 27th September, 2023.

The internet went ballistic when Kylie Jenner’s car was seen driving up Timothee Chalamet’s driveway. Hence the rumors started flying especially to confirm the news which turned out to be true.
