Clooney was born in 1962 in Kentucky. He comes from a family where his mother was a city councilwoman and a beauty queen, and his father was a television host and an anchorman. His parent’s name was Nina Bruce and Nick Clooney. Clooney has ancestry in English, German and Irish. He has an older sister named Adelia.

Clooney’s family was a strict Roman Catholic. But in 1998, he said that he had no idea about the existence of Heaven or God. When he was in middle school, he had Bell’s palsy condition, which paralyzed his face partially. When he was in college, the condition went away. On this matter, he said,
